Hello, my name is PIP. I’m not too sure exactly how old I am, it’s either 15 or 16 - an old girl anyway. I am a terrier cross. About 2 years back my master became ill and he needed to find a temporary home for me. My mistress worked with Maggie, who helps out here, so Maggie offered to give me a place at the Sanctuary. I came as a boarder initially but just stayed. I like my own company really as I am used to being an only dog. I don’t mind the others but most of them are bigger than me. I like my own space. My favourite person here is Ann who comes every Sunday and we clean the hens out together. I’ve not been too well recently apparently I have something called heart failure. It’s made me feel tired but the vet gave me some tablets that have brightened me up. Even though they do seem to make me go to the toilet a lot. |
