Hello, my name is PUPPA and, as you can see my parentage must have been a bit of a mixture. I’m very small but what I lack in stature I make up for in my personality. I am Janet’s right hand dog. She bought me from Henley-in Arden Market. I was very young and was stuffed up a man’s jumper as it was illegal to sell puppies at the market. He kept showing me to people and asking for something called a fiver. Well, Janet must have given him one because he gave me to her and she brought me to the Sanctuary. She told me that she had saved me from being sold to something called “the gypsies”. I couldn’t lap properly I was so young but I certainly thrived under Janet’s care. I am ten now. I love it here and enjoy being with all the other animals. There is never a dull moment. I know, even before Janet does, when one of the animals is ill and draw her attention to that particular animal. I lay by them and support them doing my bit to help them get well. I’ve even attended some of the healing sessions we have here for the animals. If some of the sheep start a fight I go in and stop it by splitting them up. Janet says I am a very wise little dog. I am her constant companion. |
