Hosanna the donkey.

Hello my name is Hosanna.

My name is HOSANNA.  I don't know how old I am.  I came to England from Romania.  A man brought a lot of us to sell here.  I don't know why.  All of my companions were sold and I was left on my own.  The man said I had a fat neck, a fault in donkeys, and that it made me too unattractive to sell.  He told people that I would kick them so they didn't want me.  I felt miserable on my own.  This lady turned up and offered to buy me.  She runs the Sanctuary here and one of the supporters who loved donkeys had told the lady to buy one in need and she would pay for its keep.  Well that was me.  I was in need of some care, attention and a good home.  I've got the lot here and my neck has got better.  I don't think I'm unattractive do you?  Look at my photo.  I know it’s not a good thing to be vain but I think I deserve a few compliments now and again.   I was the star of the Palm Sunday service at the local church this year and I behaved very well no accidents in the aisle.  I enjoyed it.  Perhaps they'll want me over there at Christmas too. I don't kick any one.  I'm not keen on the ponies I prefer the sheep.  I'm looking forward to Palm Sunday next year.  Please sponsor me.
