Hello, my name is Archie and I am 2 years old.
I don’t think I am any special type of breed. I came to the Sanctuary
with my friend Polly. We used to live in a place called Essex but
the person who owned us just couldn’t look after us any more. Some
of our friends were so ill that a man came to shoot them. It was
frightening. Polly and I thought that was going to happen to us
too. This marvellous lady called Sue came instead of the man. She
is a friend of Janet’s and between them they brought Polly and me
here. We have our own run and other piggy friends most notably Babe
who hasn’t been here much longer than us. She told us it is the
most fabulous place to be and we’ve found out she is right. I think
fate smiled on us the day Sue turned up at our old home. It is us
who are smiling now. Polly and I want to stay securely together
here with our new friends for the rest of our lives. Please sponsor
