Hello, I’m Priscilla the rabbit and I’m two years.
I am a Dwarf English rabbit. When I and my three siblings were very tiny, only six weeks old, we were taken away from the warmth and security of our mother and put in a cold box. We were terrified. We were jostled about in the box inside something that made a tremendous noise. It made us shake with fear. The noise stopped and the next thing we knew we were taken out of the box put on something we now know was grass and just left there with a few bits of carrot. It was a relief to be out of the box but what we were supposed to do we had no idea and no mother to tell us. One of my brothers wandered off to try to find out where we were. We never saw him again. Then this lady appeared with another box and put the three of us in that. How we didn’t die from stress and distress I don’t know – we rabbits are prone to that you know. As things turned out this second journey in a box was a vast improvement on the first because it brought us here to the Sanctuary or rather that kind lady did. Well, we couldn’t have been brought to a better place. We are safe, loved, admired and fed all sorts of goodies. I just wish my brother hadn’t left us that day all those months ago. I wish he and my mother could have come here too. I did have a special friend Elvis the guinea pig but he died so now I live with Davina, Puzzle and Minstrel. I want to stay at the Sanctuary and I want my two brothers to stay as well. Please sponsor me.
Hello, our names are Davina, Puzzle and Minstrel and we are about a year old.
We came from a breeder but a good person who was very careful who he homed all his guinea pigs to. When he heard that Priscilla was looking for some new companions he decided to volunteer us for the job. He certainly chose a good home for us here. Priscilla is a real friend and has lived with guinea pigs for most of her life. She has been here for some time and made us very welcome reassuring us that the people here are kind and fun to be around and that there is lots of yummy food. She is right on all counts! The four of us only cost £10 a year to sponsor and we would all love to stay together, please sponsor us.
