My name is DAISY and I am blind – have been since I was born. The farmer bottle fed me for a while and then decided he couldn't be bothered with me and he was going to shoot me. Some one who came to the farm to buy eggs got to know about me and they persuaded the farmer to let me come to the Sanctuary. I shall always be grateful to that anonymous person. You have to be very independent if you are blind and look out for yourself. Not that any of the others bother you at all but I like to make sure I'm near the front of the queue when the treats come round. I'm a tough girl and like my own company.
