Hello, my name is Easter
I am eighteen months old now. I arrived at the Sanctuary when I was two weeks old. Yes, I know my ears are different. I came from a place called the Forrest of Dean and seemingly some of the farmers there cut off the tips of our ears so they can identify us. All I can remember is that it jolly well hurt! Well, after that I lost my Mum and my sister. I don’t know what happened to them, I was distraught and alone. I curled up under a bush, I was so hungry, tired and felt ill. I thought I was going to die and just decided to go to sleep until I had. Then this man came and gently got me out from under my bush, he spoke quietly and showed me to some other people, some of them were small like me. They all seemed very sad. They brought me here to a place full of sheep and dogs and horses, turkeys, ducks, cats all my wonderful new friends! I was fed from a bottle and slept in the barn in cosy straw with two other lambs like me who had lost their Mum. We have become firm friends – Sammy, Arthur and me. We play in the paddock all day now we are bigger. I am so happy now I have a new family and I want to stay with them forever so please sponsor me.
