Hello, my name is Spot Loggins.

Me and my Mum, Iris, have been here for four months, and I’m about ten months old now. Well, my story…I was born on a farm near Bristol and sad to say the farmer wasn’t very good at looking after us all. Mum didn’t have enough to eat so she couldn’t feed me but, I have to say, the farmer did bottle feed me. Anyway, I decided that this was no way to raise a lamb or treat his Mum, so I gave the performance of my life every day to these people who came to watch us in the field. I can tell you I would have got an Oscar for that! It certainly paid off though and they rescued us from the farmer and brought us to the Sanctuary. Mum thought she was in heaven and she just ate and ate and soon she could feed me as well which was a vast improvement on that rubbery thing. At first the other sheep in the barn wouldn’t have anything to do with us, understandable as we had blue mouths, it did look strange. We had a condition called “orf” a bit like your version of cold sores and the blue stuff was used to treat it, successfully. After that the other sheep and lambs my own age soon made friends. Now we are all out in the field and it’s just wonderful! Mum has been sheared and looks rather attractive I think, well she produced me didn’t she! And I have loads of friends my own age to play with but best of all I have Janet. I love her she is just the most wonderful person, along with our rescuers, I’ve ever met and I don’t need to perform for her. I want Mum and myself to be able to stay here, I want Mum to always have enough to eat, so please sponsor me and then I can look after her, thank you.
