Janet Wins The Wetnose Animal Aid Award for The Best Farm Animal Sanctuary

Janet at Awards

Janet supported by volunteer and friend Ann travelled to London for the award ceremony which was held at the House of Commons.

Wetnose Animal Aid raise funds for smaller charities helping to pay for vet bills, food and some equipment. They have kindly supported the Sanctuary for some time helping out with our vet bills which are high all year round.

Janet met David Hamilton and Max, his very shaggy and friendly Gordon Setter, Ann Widdicombe MP - a staunch supporter of legislation to benefit animals –and was presented with the Award for Best Farm Animal Sanctuary in the UK by actress Susan Jameson who took a genuine interest in the aims of and the care provided by the Sanctuary.

We are all absolutely delighted to have been presented with the award. In recognition of the compassionate, often distressing and hard work that Janet, Louise, Dave, Ann, Kirstie, Angela, Di, Frank, Maggie, Kim, Mandy and Liz put in every week of the year.

THANK YOU ALL AND THANK YOU WETNOSE!
