A Cosy Corner of Hope in the Barn

A cosy corner of hope in the barn has been provided for these eight year old lambs who arrived at the Sanctuary early last month. They had been rescued by a supporter and were all suffering from “joint ill” and general neglect. “Joint ill”, if left untreated, can be so severe that it prevents lambs from standing let alone walking and this is exactly what had happened to this small family. Happily, with lots of homeopathic products and physiotherapy and patience they can now all stand with assistance and once they are up they are off! Kanga can now stand on his own. Olivia is very greedy and has put on weight and Jenson gets his name from the speed at which he rushes around his pen! Biggles, Tango, Tuppence and Honey are a little more sedate. Right from the start these lambs have shown a great and enthusiastic interest in their surroundings, their food, the people who help them and even their medicine. That is why we thought they should be given a chance. At the moment their future health is still not one hundred percent certain which is why we are not asking for sponsors for them yet. But if you would like to make a donation towards the cost of their care please send a cheque made out to the Farm Animal Sanctuary to the address on the contact page.

Thank you very much indeed.
